A master reset may become necessary
when your handset is jammed and does not
respond to the system.
A master reset is a full restore of a handset
to its original factory settings. It requires
deleting all information on your handset by
reformatting the memory.
Caution:
Used master reset with caution,
as it destroys all data stored on your
handset (files, settings, contacts etc.).
Master reset does not reset the unlock
code, security code, and lifetime timer.
To return your handset to original settings:

The default master reset code is

(6 zeroes).
