• To call the number using your
speakerphone (or with a headset
connected), press the
N
display key.
To end a call, hold the smart key.
Tip: If you open the phone after placing a
call through the speakerphone, press Options >
Speakerphone Off to turn off the speaker.
• To go back , press the smart key.
• To close the missed calls display , hold the
middle touch key.
redial
1 Press
N
from the home screen to see a list of
recent calls.
2 Scroll to the entry you want to call, then
press
N
.
If you hear a busy signal , and you see Call Failed ,
you can press
N
or Retry to redial the number.
When the call goes through, your phone rings
or vibrates one time, shows
Redial Successful , and
connects the call.
caller ID
Calling line identification (caller ID) shows
the phone number for an incoming call in
your external and internal displays.
Your phone shows the caller’s name and picture when
they’re stored in your phonebook, or
Incoming Call when
caller ID information isn’t available.
You can set your phone to play a different ringer ID for
a contact stored in your phonebook (see page 50).
To show or hide your phone number from the next
person you call, enter the phone number and press
Options > Hide ID/Show ID .
emergency calls
Your service provider programs one or more
emergency phone numbers, such as 911 or 112,
that you can call under any circumstances, even when
your phone is locked or the SIM card is not inserted.
