profiles
Each profile uses a different set of sounds, ring styles,
earpiece volume settings, or vibrations for incoming
calls and other events. For example, the Outdoor profile
volume is much louder than the Normal profile.
You can choose from these profiles:
To choose a profile:
1 From the home screen, press and hold the home
key (

) to open the Quick List.
2 Use the thumb wheel to scroll to a profile and
press the thumb wheel or center select key (

to select it.
Indicators can appear at the top of your home screen
for the Silent (
Q
) and Vibrate (

) profiles. The indicator

means the speakerphone is on (see page 27).
