Group Calls and Selective Dynamic Group Calls

Turning Off Group Calls

To set your phone to prevent you from hearing group calls 

to your Talkgroup:

  From the main menu, select 

Settings > 2-Way Radio 

> Tkgrp Silent

.

  Set this option On.

To set your phone to let you hear group calls to your 

Talkgroup:

  Scroll to the Talkgroup you want to join.

Note: 

You can only monitor one Talkgroup at a time.

Making Group Calls

  Press

. Then enter the Talkgroup number using the 

keypad. -or-

Choose the Talkgroup name from Contacts or recent 

calls list.

  Proceed as if making a Private call.

Receiving Group Calls

To answer a group call:
 

Proceed as if answering a Private call. Only one person 

at a time may speak on a group call. The Private ID or 

name of the person who is speaking will appear on the 

display below the Talkgroup number.
