Secure the Solar Panel Frame to the Mounting Bracket with the Bracket Bolts (2x).

AC Power Installation
The AC 120V External Power option requires an existing AC power outlet installed by a certified
electrician.
NOTE:
If you are not using the AC 120V External Power option, skip to
3.2.1
Installing AC Power
Procedure:

In the Mobile Companion application, tap
Start Hardware Installation
.

Enter the necessary camera information and select the
AC 120V External Power
option.

Plug the AC power cable and adapter into a furnished 120V AC power outlet.

Check the cable length by running the power cable to approximately where the camera will be
installed and temporarily secure the cable with a reusable zip tie.
3.3
DC Power Installation
The DC 12V External Power option requires an existing DC power facility installed by a certified
electrician.
NOTE:
If you are not using the DC 12V External Power option, skip to
3.3.1
Installing DC Power
Procedure:

In the Mobile Companion application, tap
Start Hardware Installation
.

Enter the necessary camera information and select the
DC 12V External Power
option.

Strip about 0.5 in. of insulation from the conductors on the DC power cable and the conductors
coming from the DC power source.

Connect the conductors as shown in the following figure, using the electrical wire twisting caps,
or solder and electrical insulation tape.
