Wireless Data Services

Advanced Mode

To open the Advanced Mode window:

1. From the Normal mode window, click “Mode”.

2. Click “Advanced”. The Advanced Mode window opens.

The following information is displayed:

Advanced mode also has a pop-up menu. To access the pop-up menu, click
your right mouse button in the status window.

The menu choices are:

If you see the following status message:

CANNOT COMMUNICATE WITH PHONE

the computer does not recognize the IP address of the phone. If the IP
address conflicts with the one given to you by your iDEN carrier, run the
configuration program to synchronize the IP addresses. See “Configuring
Your Phone” on page 34.
