Selecting a Target

You can select a target by Direct Entry, Memory Scroll, or Alpha Search.

•

Direct Entry 

1. Enter the numeric 

radio ID of the 
person to whom you
are sending the 
message.

2. Press OK.

3. Press PTT to send 

the message to the 
selected ID.

The ID list is the
same as Call Alert
and Private Con-
versation List.

The second line
reflects the ID or
alias to whom you
last sent a suc-
cessful Status
Message.

The < key acts as
a backspace.

CANCL returns to
show you the last
selected radio ID.
