2. Phone Basics

Removing and Inserting the SIM Card

To remove your SIM card:

1.

With your phone powered off, use your thumbs to 
slide the battery cover up until it is released from 
the phone, and then remove the battery cover from 
the back of the phone.

2.

Remove the battery, and then use your thumbs to 
carefully slide the SIM card out from under the 
edge.

To insert your SIM card:

1.

With your phone powered off, use your thumbs to 
slide the battery cover up until it is released from 
the phone, and then remove the battery cover from 
the back of the phone. 

2.

Remove the battery, and then use your thumbs to 
carefully slide the SIM card into your phone until it 
lies flat in the SIM card holder.

Important:

To avoid losing information stored in your SIM 
card, do not remove it from your phone unless 
absolutely necessary.

Note:

Protect your SIM card as you would any delicate object. 
Store it carefully.

Important:

Do not touch the gold-colored areas of your SIM 
card.
