Status Bar
The following indicators can display in the status bar:
1. Signal Strength Indicator –
Vertical bars show the
strength of the network connection. You cannot make or
receive calls when the (no signal) indicator or
(no
transmit) indicator is displayed.
2. GPRS Indicator –
Shows that your phone is
using a high-speed
General Packet Radio
Service
(GPRS) network connection. GPRS
allows faster data transfer speeds. A darkened
indicator shows that a GPRS connection is not available.
3. Bluetooth® Indicator –
Shows that your phone has
established a Bluetooth wireless connection with a
headset accessory or other external device.
4. Battery Level Indicator –
Vertical bars show the
battery charge level. Recharge the battery when
Low Battery
displays and the battery alert sounds.
5. Clock –
Shows the current time.
