Entering names
Use the alphanumeric keypad to enter names in the phonebook.
For instance to enter the name Paul

Enter a pause
If your D1011 is connected to a switchboard, you may need to enter a
pause in a stored number. This gives the switchboard time to get an
outside line. A Pause is normally stored after the switchboard access
code (e.g. 9)

When storing a number, press and hold

until the display shows P.
You can then continue storing the phone number.
View an entry
In standby:
1.
Press
d
.
2.
Enter the first letter of the name to search alphabetically then scroll
u
or
d
to the exact entry. The name is displayed.
3.
Press
e
to display the number. If there are more than 12 digits,
press
e
again to see the rest of the number.
4.
Press

to return to standby.
During a call:
1.
Press
m
twice to open the phonebook menu.
2.
Enter the first letter of the name you want then scroll

if
necessary to the exact name. Press

to display the number. If
there are more than 12 digits, press

again to see the rest of the
number.

to cancel the phonebook display.
4.

again to end the call.
Edit an entry
