You can also upload the selected entry to your phone by pressing the
button. The
entry will preserve the name, number, and number type in your phone.
Press the
button to go back to the main screen, or press the other buttons to go to
the
QuickDial
or
Call Log
screen.
3.4 QuickDial Screen (Speed Dial)
Pressing the
button will open the
QuickDial
screen (Figure 5).

The
QuickDial
screen is where you can do one-touch dialing. There are 40
QuickDial
entries in total, 8 on 5 pages. You can select a page by selecting the 1-5 button on the
right, or pressing up and down on the Palm™ scroll buttons.
To assign a number to a
QuickDial
slot, press any empty slot. This will bring up the edit
dialog (Figure 6).

The Cancel button will exit the dialog without saving the entry.
You can enter in a name and valid telephone number into the appropriate fields or
assign a phonebook entry into the
QuickDial
slot by pressing the
Assign…
button.
