Installation Guide

1.4 Hardware and Mounting Accessories

The AP-8163 is a

Power over Ethernet

(PoE) device. When deployed, the use of an outdoor rated PoE power supply

and mounting bracket may be required. The recommended Motorola Solutions PoE accessories are listed in the
following table:

1.5 AP-8163 Mounting Accessories

The AP-8163 has a flexible three piece mounting kit (KT-147407-01

)

, together with an optional standoff extension

One RJ45 weatherized connector plug is included with each AP-8163 Access Point. If additional plugs are
