battery installation

Note: 

If you remove the battery for a long time, the 

phone prompts you to reset the time and date. If you 

choose to cancel or ignore, the time and date will be 

affected. You can input the correct time and date by:

system either won’t ask you to reset the time and date 

or you can choose

New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before 

you can use your phone, install and charge the battery 

as described in the following section. Some batteries 

perform best after several full charge and discharge 

cycles.

Plug the charger into 

your phone and an 

electrical outlet. Your 

phone displays

 when finished.

Tip: 

You cannot 

overcharge your battery. It will perform best after you 

fully charge and discharge it a few times.

You can also charge your battery by 

connecting a cable from your phone’s 

mini-USB port to a USB port on a 

computer. Both your phone and the 

computer must be turned on, and your computer
