Copying Contact Information to a SIM Card

You can copy contact information in your mobile to a SIM Card. By using the same SIM Card, you 
can also retrieve the contact information in another GSM phone.

A

The size of the SIM Card memory determines the amount of information that can be 
stored in the SIM Card, while the function of the SIM Card determines what type of 
information can be saved. Usually, a SIM Card can only store contacts information like 
names and phone numbers.

icon at the main menu to get to the Address Book menu. Under the Search 

Contacts screen, press and select the contacts which you wish to copy to the SIM Card.

Copy to SIM

 and the following selection box will appear:

Select Mobile from the single-selection box. (Normally, a SIM Card memory can only 
store one contact number under one name).

OK

 to save the selected information to the SIM Card. Press 

Cancel

 to return to the 

Contacts information menu and do NOT save any contacts information to the SIM Card.

Copying Contact Information from a SIM Card to a Phone

You can also save contacts information in a SIM Card to a phone

At the main menu, press 

 

icon to get to the Address Book menu. Under the Search 

Contacts screen, press and select the SIM card contacts which you wish to copy to the 
phone.

To facilitate the search of contacts information saved in a SIM Card, you may select 
the category as SIM Card. All contacts information saved in a SIM Card will then have 
a [xxx] icon in front of the contacts’ surnames.
