Button
Press a button to execute a certain function. The mostly common buttons are
Cancel
and
OK
,
which are usually found at the bottom of a screen (at the Function Display or Dialogue Box).
Selecting
OK
executes the function then returns to the previous menu; selecting
Cancel
aborts
the function at the screen and merely returns to the previous menu.
Most Commonly Used Button—Function Selection Button
You can see this ( ) button at the function displays of many screens. It can efficiently select
the functions available at the current operation mode. Press ( ) and a dialogue box with many
different function selections will appear. You may activate a certain function by pressing the
relevant function selection.
The function selections in a dialogue box change with the different handset operation modes.
If you do not wish to select any functions, you may press (
) to dismiss the function dialogue
box.
Title
Uses words or pictures to describe the functions. Certain displays only show the titles e.g. the
narrow LCD display of a traditional analogue phone when making a phone call.
Key-in Area
You can use a stylus to key in words, figures or store pictures in the Key-in Area (there is a line at
the bottom of the display to distinguish the key-in area).

Scroll through the Selection Box
The current selection is shown on the selection box. For more selection options, press the small
arrow (
) to scroll through the selection box. When you see a certain option that you wish to
select, simply select the option to make it the current selection.
