35 Using additional cordless units
On the base:
1. Press and hold
p
for 5 seconds. The base will remain in registration mode for 90
seconds.
On the cordless unit:
Follow the registration instructions given in your cordless unit’s user guide.
10.3 Select a base
You can register the AC1001C conferencing unit with up to 4 bases. Once registered, you
can switch between bases, for example, bases at home and at work.
1. Press

to Registration and press Select .
2. Scroll

to Select Base and press Select .
All the base numbers are displayed.
(In use) is shown beside the base number where the conferencing unit was previously
registered to. Scroll

to the base you want and press Select .
3. The display shows Searching Base X... . When registration is complete, the
conferencing unit returns to standby.
10.4 De-register a cordless unit
Use one cordless unit to de-register another. You cannot de-register the cordless unit that
you are using.
1. Press
Menu , scroll

to Registration and press Select .
2. Scroll
d
to De-register and press Select .
3. Enter the System PIN and press OK . (default setting = 0000)

to the cordless unit you want to de-register and press Select .
5. Press Yes to confirm or No to cancel.
6. Press
e
to return to standby.
