PROBLEM

SOLUTION

The fingerprint cannot be read or takes too long.

1. Check that your finger or fingerprint sensor is stained with sweat, water, or dust.

2. Try again after cleaning your finger and fingerprint sensor with dry paper or a slightly damp cloth.

3. If the fingerprint is too dry, scare your finger and try again.

The fingerprint is checked, but the authorization continues to fail.

1. Make sure the user is restricted by zone or time zone.

2. Check with your administrator to see if the registered fingerprint was deleted from the device for some

reason.

Authorized access, but the door does not open.

1. Make sure that the lock duration is set to the appropriate minutes, which opens the lock.

2. Make sure the anti-passback mode is in use. In anti-passback mode, only the person who entered

through that door can exit.

The device alarm is ringing.

1. Make sure the device and the rear plate are well connected to each other. If not, an case button is

activated, which triggers the alarm and keeps it active.
