OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Before use, ensure you have read and understood safety instructions, and apply them
during use.
WARNING!
Ensure you prepare vehicle correctly before attempting to use the Transmission Jack.
WARNING!
Ensure the load is centred and stable on the jack saddle and load is fixed in place before
attempting to lift, lower or transport.
IMPORTANT:
The unit is fitted with a "Dead Man" release valve. The quicker the valve knob is turned, the
more rapid the jack’s descent.

BEFORE USE:
Air may become trapped in the hydraulic system during transit.
TO PURGE AIR:
• Open release valve by turning handle counter clockwise
• Pump handle rapidly 4 full strokes. This will expel air that may have entered oil
passages during transit.
• Close release valve by rotating handle clockwise and pump handle.
• If the lift arm is raised, jack is ready for use. If not, repeat this procedure.
IMPORTANT:
Before attempting to raise any vehicle, check vehicle service manual
for recommended lifting surfaces.
POSITIONING TRANSMISSION JACK BENEATH LOAD.
Before use, ensure the transmission weight and size do not exceed the capacity
of the jack.
LOWERING THE LOAD.
SLOWLY turn the release valve knob counterclockwise to GENTLY lower saddle to
the lowest height before attempting to transport load.
TRANSPORTING THE LOAD.
Make sure the saddle is at the lowest height and that the load will not slip.
Transport on a level, non-sloping surface at a slow and constant speed.
