seconds indicating the receiver is in PWM mode (which is correct when using the
receiver to control standard servos). (If this light is red instead, the receiver is in PPM
mode instead. If you are using the receiver in a model that doesn’t have a flight
controller, you need to switch the receiver to the PWM Mode as described in “Change the
Receiver’s Mode.”)

Use a pen or other pointed object to press and hold the Bind/Mode button the receiver
until the Bind light flashes red slowly indicating it is in Bind mode. (When you first press
the Bind/Mode button, the PWM/PPM Mode light also illuminates for 2 seconds.)

Hold the bind switch (if your transmitter uses one) you identified in step 8 in the forward
position (toward the front of the transmitter) and turn the transmitter on. You hear the
bind tone on the transmitter and the Bind light on the receiver becomes solid green,
indicating the bind process is complete.
13.
Move the control associated with the servo you connected to ensure it moves. If so, the
model is bound. If not, repeat this process until it is successful.
14.
Power off the receiver.
15.
Power off the transmitter. You are ready to program and install the receiver.
