B. Technical description
The M7829AR digital display is used to check or control any type of current/voltage
signal. It converts the input signal to any desired display between -1999 to +1999.
The displayed value can then be monitored or controlled by two alarm contacts.
Those alarm contacts can be set independently. The alarm value of the contacts is
programmed by two multi-turn potentiometers on the front panel. By pressing one of
the arrow buttons, the corresponding alarm value is displayed. The contacts are
floating and can be factory programmed to open or to close their N/O contacts when
reaching the alarm limit. Each alarm status is displayed with a red lamp. The
Instrument provides also one signal current or voltage output which can also be set
independently to the input signal or the display range.
Example: Input: 0 to 20mA
Output: 4 to 20mA
Display: 0 to 10.00 bar
