Il GE è un gruppo elettrogeno che trasforma l’energia meccanica, generata da un motore a combustione,
in energia elettrica attraverso un alternatore.
E‘ montato su una struttura di acciaio sulla quale sono previsti dei supporti elastici che hanno lo scopo di
ammortizzare le vibrazioni ed eventualmente eliminare risonanze che produrrebbero rumorosità.
La barella protegge il gruppo contro urti involontari durante la movimentazione, lo stesso frontale è comple-
tamente incassato a protezione dei componenti montati. Il serbatoio carburante e la batteria d’avviamento
completano le parti principali della macchina.
