FOLDING

SECTION H

Main Fold Rollers - Removal

The folding unit has 3 main folding rollers that can be easily removed for replacement, the
procedure for removing the rollers is as follows:-
Rollers cannot be removed without removing the fold knives.

1.

Remove rear cover assembly and top guard.

2.

Remove the gap set assembly from the operators side of the machine by removing
the 3 button head screws.

Remove 3 off screws on the access housing.

2.

Remove the collar from the shaft on the layside of the machine.

3.

The roller assembly can now be withdrawn from the operator side of the machine.

4.

To remove the worm from the roller assembly unscrew the grub screw.

To replace is the reverse procedure, note the dog point on the large point of the cam must
align with the grub screw on the spring collar.
