b. Remove the “Secondary Lock” from the rear of the
connector.
c. Remove the weather seal from the rear
of the connector.
2. Access the connectors underneath the TIPM
a. Using a 13 mm socket, remove the
positive battery feed to the TIPM.
b. Access connectors at the bottom of
the TIPM by releasing the (4) tabs in the
corners of the TIPM and lifting upward.
3. Connect the hood switch wire
a. Unplug the “D” connector from the TIPM
“Secondary Lock”
