The times given below are a guide based on the branding bars placed in the lowest position. These can
be reversed to raise them by approximately 20mm. Timings will also vary depending on size and weight
of portion, fat content and food temperature.

It is recommended that the brander bar height is set prior to lighting the burners, this will avoid them
having to be moved once they have heated up.
Due to the high temperatures achieved on the brander bars the majority of the food cooked will stick to
the bars. To avoid this, pre-heat the brander bars with the burners on full for approximately 15 minutes
then turn down to low rate for a further 5 minutes, then lightly brush with oil.
Marinated food could be cooked without the need for any extra lubrication.
