Section 1. Installation
A qualified installer must carry out the installation.
This appliance can be used fully ‘vented’ via a ducting hose and external wall
vent, or in ‘re-circulation’ mode by using the charcoal filter provided.
The cooker hood should ideally be installed between 65-75cm above the
work surface/cooker hob. DO NOT INSTALL BELOW 65cm
(See Fig.1)

Secure the outlet to the motor box (See Fig. 2).
Using the template, mark and drill 3 x 8mm diameter holes and secure the
wall bracket to the wall (See Fig. 3).
Now hang the hood on the bracket and secure with the additional screw (Figs.
4 & 5).
Secure one end of the flexible vent hose to the unit and connect the other end
to the wall outlet (Fig. 6).
N.B. To ensure that your cooker hood operates
efficiently the hose length must not exceed 2m with a maximum of one
bend.
Now fit and secure the top ‘U’ chimney section of the hood (Fig. 7).
The mains lead/plug should be connected to a suitably positioned fused
electrical spur, protected by a 13amp fuse.
