Before
opening
the
tank
cover
to
refill
the
tank,
release
the
steam
pressure
by
pressing
the
steam
switch
on
the
steam
gun,
or
allow
the
cleaner
to
cool
down
completely.
The
water
tank
can
then
be
refilled
as
follows:
remove
the
filling
cap
by
pressing
it
down
and
turning
it
anti
‐
clockwise.
Fill
the
tank
with
1.4
litre
of
water
using
the
funnel
and
measuring
cup.
Replace
the
filling
cap
and
close
it
tightly
by
turning
in
the
clockwise
direction.
Note:
•
Even
after
a
cooling
down
period
of
5
minutes,
the
remaining
water
in
the
tank
and
the
tank
lid
will
still
be
hot.
Always
take
care
when
removing
the
filling
cap,
since
hot
steam
may
be
emitted
and
the
heat
of
the
thread
can
cause
burns.

Do
not
add
cleaning
solutions,
scented
perfumes,
oils
or
any
other
chemicals
to
the
water
used
in
this
device,
as
this
may
damage
the
device
and
make
it
unsafe
for
use.
•
Do
not
exceed
the
maximum
prescribed
fill
of
1.4
litre
for
the
water
tank
(2
x
the
measuring
cup)
•
The
use
of
distilled
water
is
recommended
in
areas
with
hard
water
to
avoid
lime
scale
deposits.
Overheating
protection
The
device
is
equipped
with
thermo
protection
against
overheating.
The
device
will
switch
‐
off
automatically
when
the
temperature
is
too
high
in
order
to
prevent
over
‐
heating.
If
this
happens,
please
remove
the
plug
from
the
socket
immediately.
Allow
the
cleaner
to
cool
down
for
30
minutes
before
resuming
work.
After
use
1.
Turn
off
the
device
by
pressing
the
on/off
switch.
2.
Allow
the
device
to
cool
completely.
3.
Empty
the
water
tank
by
turning
the
device
upside
down.
MAINTENANCE
AND
CLEANING
Note:

switch
off
and
unplug
the
device

wall
socket
before
cleaning
the

Never
immerse
the
device
and/or
the
power
cord
in
water
or
other
liquids.
Cleaning
the
device
1.
Turn
the
machine
off
and
let
it
cool
down
completely.
2.
Clean
the
device
and
accessories
with
a
damp
cloth
and
a
mild
detergent
and
allow
to
dry
completely.
Note:
never
use
abrasives,
bleaching
agents
or
steel
wool
to
clean
the
device.
This
could
cause
damage
to
the
material.
Rinsing
the
water
tank
To
clean
the
water
tank,
we
recommend
that
you
fill
it
with
water,
close
the
cover
and
shake
the
unit
vigorously.
This
will
release
any
lime
‐
scale
deposits
that
have
collected
on
the
bottom
of
the
tank.
Pour
the
water
out
by
holding
the
cleaner
upside
down.
Lime
‐
scale
removal
To
extend
the
life
of
your
device
it
is
recommended
to
descale
the
appliance
every
six
months.
Switch
the
device
off
and
remove
the
plug
from
the
socket.
Fill
the
tank
with
1.4
litre
of
50°C
hot
