PROGRAMS control
The PROGRAMS selector allows modifying the
system’s frequency response, adjusting the
FLAT
:
This program is the most “aggressive” and the
response is the flattest in the mid range. It increases
the intelligibility of the speech and it is suggested
for those applications where vocal clarity is most
important (conferences, etc.).
VOICE
:
It is best suited for live music/voice reinforcement.
Suggested applications include piano bar, live music
with singers, etc.
MUSIC
:
It enhances the response at the extremes of the
audio band (low and high frequencies), making it
most suitable for the reproduction of low or high
level music in fixed installations (hotels, restaurants,
etc.).
The user’s musical taste will help in deciding which
one of the three settings is the most suitable for
the specified application, keeping in mind that the
mixer tone controls and graphic equalizer will help
in getting the desired tonal response.

midrange response to give the best in three typical
applications:
When the MT160Ps are used together with other
(different) speaker systems, the PROGRAMS
selector will allow adjusting their response so that
the resulting tonal quality will give a closer match
with the other systems.
