Once Cura has finished loading the file, it will automatically begin preparing the
model for printing on your selected
printer model (i3 Plus). A progress bar
will appear under the Save Toolpath
icon. While Cura is working, you can set
the print type (quality) and can instruct
it to print support structures. This model
will require a support structure, so
check the support structure box.

Once Cura has finished preparing the
model, the Save Toolpath icon will
activate. Beneath the Save Toolpath
icon is an estimate of the amount of
time it will take to print the model, as
well as the length and weight of
filament that will be required.

If you have an SD™ card mounted on
your computer, the Save Toolpath icon will change to
the Save Toolpath to SD button. For best results, we
recommend that you print from an SD card, rather
than using the USB connection and printing from your
computer. Click the Save Toolpath or Save Toolpath to SD button to save the
model.

When the file save is complete, a
message will be displayed on screen
indicating the full path and filename of
your model file. If you printed to SD
card, click the Eject button to safely
remove the SD card from your
computer. If you did not save the file to
an SD card, you should copy it to an SD
card before proceeding.
