INSTALLATION
Perform the following steps to connect the converter to a DVI video source, an analog
audio source, and one or more SDI output devices.
1. Ensure that all devices you will be connecting are powered OFF.
2. Plug one end of a DVI-D cable (not included) into the video input of your DVI
display.
3. Plug the other end of the DVI-D cable into the DVI output port (7) on the
converter.
4. Plug one end of a digital coaxial audio cable (not included) into the digital coaxial
audio input jack on your amplifier/AV receiver. Alternatively, plug one end of a
digital optical (Toslink) audio cable (not included) into the digital optical (Toslink)
audio input on your amplifier/AV receiver. Note that you need to use only one of
the two audio options.
5. Plug the other end of the digital coaxial audio cable into the Coax jack (6) on the
converter. Alternatively, plug the other end of the digital optical (Toslink) audio
cable into the Toslink jack on the converter. Again, you need to use only one of
the two audio options.
6. (Optional) Plug one end of an SDI cable (not included) into the SDI input jack on
an SDI display or other device.
7. (Optional) Plug the other end of the SDI cable into the SDI Out jack (2) on the
converter.
8. Plug one end of an SDI cable (not included) into the SDI In jack (1) on the
converter.
9. Plug the other end of the SDI cable into the SDI video output of your SDI video
source device.
10. Plug the DC connector on the AC adapter into the DC Power Jack (3) on the
video converter.
11. Plug the AC adapter into a nearby power outlet.
12. Power on your display(s) or other device(s).
13. Power on your SDI video source device and start playback of your audio/video
source.
