PREPARING FOR VACATION
Set the icemaker power switch to the OFF position and
be sure to shut off the water supply to the refrigerator.
For long vacations or absences, remove food from the

and clean the interior with a baking soda solution of one
tablespoon (15 ml) of baking soda to one quart (1 liter) of
water. Leave the door open.
For shorter vacations, remove perishable foods and
leave controls at regular settings. However, if the room
temperature is expected to drop below 60°F (16°C), follow
the same instructions as for long vacations.
REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER LOCATION

perature will go below 55°F (13°C). It will not run often
enough to maintain proper temperatures.

loaded.
For proper installation, the refrigerator/freezer must
be placed on a level surface of hard material the same
height as the rest of the flooring. This surface should
be strong enough to support a fully loaded refrigerator/
freezer, or approximately 1,500 lbs. (680.39 kg) each.
