: Use the connection cable delivered with the Gibbon AIR to connect the active Speaker with
the passive one. Ensure correct Polarity.

9. Volume/on/off – knob:
This button switches on / off the system and operates the volume of the
system. To switch on/off please push the button, the enlightened logo will show the working state.

Turn the knob clockwise to increase the volume, anti- clock-
wise to decrease the volume. In working mode (Audio signal is available) the Monkey Banana Logo is
enlightened. After ~12 min without no audio signal the speaker turns automatically into Standby Mode,
the logo will be dimmed; the speaker is in “Jungle Protect”. Through this the environment will be saved
and the consumption of electricity massive reduced. (less than 0,5W power consumption) - according
to the European Directive [2005/32/EG]. As soon as an audio signal is played again the speaker turns
immediately on, the logo will be enlightened.

11. bluetooth button:
Activates the Bluetooth Function. To connect your Bluetooth-able devices with
the Gibbon AIR please follow the instructions below:
to connect a new bt device:

Make sure Bluetooth is activated on your Source Device.

Turn on the Gibbon AIR (Led is flashing fast). As soon the BT-mode is ready to operate the LED
starts lighting continuously.

Please press now the “Connect” - Button on the Gibbon AIR. Gibbon AIR is now searching for
BT-devices in reachable distance
.
As soon as your device has been recognized, the Gibbon AIR wants to connect with it.
(Name of the Speaker in the BT Network: Gibbon AIR). Please follow now the manufacturer-specific
guidance of your Bluetooth source to connect your device with the Gibbon AIR. To connect already
implemented BT devices: Please turn on the Gibbon AIR (BT Led flash fast). Automatically Gibbon AIR is
searching for already implemented devices. Gibbon AIR can store up to 8 external devices (Smartpho-
nes, Tablets, a.s.o.).
The Gibbon AIR connects automatically with the device whose BT Signal is the strongest.
12. 3,5 mm auX Input (-10db[v])
: This input accepts 3,5mm stereo type connectors. Connect your
mobile phone, tablet, or other matching audio source with this input.
13. 3,5mm Phones out (-10db[v])
: To connect a headphone with 3,5mm connector.
