Figure 4 Using the Laser Module

4.3  TACH (Tachometer) Mode

TACH (Tachometer) Mode is only available if the optional Laser   Module 

is installed. 

This mode uses the laser to measure rotational speed.    

Tachometer icon will show on the display when the Nova-

 

Pro is in TACH Mode.  

Unit will NOT FLASH in Tachometer Mode.

Laser icon will blink when Laser Mode is enabled, and will be 

on solid when trigger is pulled, activating the laser.

Pull  the  trigger  and  aim  the  laser  at  a  reflective 

target on a rotating or reciprocating machinery. The 

speed will be displayed in the selected units.
On-Target icon will show on the display when the 

target is detected.
