Once the salt level in the pool is correct the Unit may be switched On. The

Stand - by

 indicator

will be On and no

Cell  Output

will be seen for approx 30 seconds, this allows the pump and

filter to prime and the Cell Housing to fill with water. After this start - up delay the Display
should light up fluctuating around 100, unless in

Winter Mode

where it will fluctuate around 85.

At this point both

Operation LED's

should be Green; if not there is a problem. (Refer table).

OPERATION OF CHLOROMATIC

 ESC SYSTEM

:

The Chloromatic

ESC system operates similarly to the ESR System described above.  The ESC

system has the following additional features:

1.

POLARITY INDICATOR ON OUTPUT Display -

The

±

 Symbol

 appears before the cell

output  display  to  indicate  which  polarity  the  system  is  in,  i.e.  positive  or  negative.   This
symbol will alternate and is factory pre set.

2.

SYSTEM CONTROL -

 When adjusting the

System Control (refer following section)

the

ESC system’s Cell Output Display flashes the control setting (i.e. percentage of time that the
Cell  operates  during  the  filtration  cycle)  for  a  few  seconds  then  resumes  displaying  Cell
Output.

3.

CLEANING  OF  CELL  –

The  ESC  System  uses  a  patented

Electronic  Self  Cleaning

system to clean your Cell and therefore you should not have to clean your ESC cell unless
you have extreme water conditions.
