Select the required input/output modules from the left column
and transfer them to the right column, using the Select button.
The order of the modules in the right-hand column must match the
configuration of the controller.
The types of the electronic modules are presented in the module
list as the type designation of the XI/ON modules. There is just one
distinction made in the module representation: modules in the
typified representation are marked by a “T” (e.g. T-XN-2DI-
24VDC-P), but modules in standardised representation are marked
by an “S” (e.g. S-XN-4DI-24VDC-P). The modules used in the
example are type-dependent.

Click the + sign of the selected module in the left pane in order
to find the physical addresses of the inputs/outputs.
The addresses are shown as directly represented variables that you
can use directly in the declaration.

Save the configuration under a name, e.g. ABC.
Open the “User parameter” tab for parametric programming of
the user parameters. The user parameters have the following
default setting which can be changed by a double click in the
“VALUE” column.
