Networking several drive controllers
Networking of drive controllers using the RS 485 interface
can be useful if you have installed several of them in the
same installation. If you connect the end of the bus to a
socket mounted on the cabinet door or the control panel, it
is possible to configure each of the drive controllers from a
single, central connector.

Connect one end of the cable screen to terminal 89
(direct PE) of the first interface module. The other end of
the cable screen should be connected to terminal 88
(capacitive PE) of the following interface module. This
avoids ground equalizing currents from flowing through
the cable shield.

Connect terminals 71 and 72 of all of the interface
modules to a twisted pair in the screened cable (e. g.
white and brown).
