Installation BX 6503 on the kitchen cabinet.
1. Make a hole in the kitchen cabinet. The size of t he hole for the
exhaust hood should be proportional to the product to be
installed (see placing hole size specifications table).
2. Make 1 hole with diameter 150 mm for the exhaust pipe.
3. Remove the aluminum filter and remove 4 screws from the
control panel.
6.
Install the hood into t he built-in hole and then tighten using 6
screws enclosed.
4. Reassembly the control panel and tighten using 4 screws.
5. Connect the exhaust pipe on the exhaust hole onto the unit.
OPERATING P ROCEDURE
MODE NA Exhaust Hood has 2 (two) work methods as follows:
DUCTING / EXHAUST System:
-
In this mode, the ex haust hood operates by sucking the
smoke / cooking odor and then discharging it out of the vent.

A heat / fire-resistant ducting system is required to discharge
smoke / odor out of the vent.

To connect the exhaust hood with the discharge duct with a
minimum diameter 4 inch or 120 mm for B X 9603 and B X
6603 or the minimum diameter 6 inch or 150 mm for B X 6503.
Several things which require attention in installing the ducting system exhaust hood:
1. Carbon filt er must be removed because the cooking odor will be sucked and immediat ely discharged out
of the room.
2. If the exhaust hood is to be installed in a multi-storied building or an apartment, consult with the person
in charge of the building / apartment prior to installing the exhaust system.
3. Exhaust hood with ducting system should be used in an open-air room with good air circulation.
RECI RCULATING System:

In this version, the exhaust hood sucks the smoke / cooking odor and
filters it t hrough an aluminum filt er and carbon filter. The filtered smoke
is then re-circulated into the room. This system is used if the premis e
renders it impossible to install a ducting system.

This version require a airflow hole which penetrating up to the top.
Several things which must be ensured when installing a exhaust hood with re-circulating system:
1. Both carbon filter and alumi num filter must be used.
2. The position of both filters must be correct.
