Operating Information
Please note:
When switching between forwards and reverse driving, the throttle must be put into the neutral
position briefly (approx. 2 seconds).
If the throttle is moved directly from forwards to reverse, the brake of the speed controller is
activated (vehicle does NOT reverse!)
If the driving direction or the brake function respond opposite to the movement of the throttle
on the transmitter, activate the reverse function on the transmitter or swap any two of the three
motor cables.
Important!
Your vehicle must move forwards when the LED1 at the speed controller is flashing
red or permanently red in case of full throttle.
If the transmitter signal is lost, the speed controller turns off the motor for safety reasons (the
steering servo will vibrate, however, if no failsafe is installed). LED1 and LED2 start flashing
green and red alternatingly.
The speed controller switches off in case of overtemperature of the speed controller (see
”technical data”). In this case, check the transmission of the drive and the fan on the speed
controller.
If the speed controller/motor does not work or if moving the throttle does not cause the motor
to run, switch off the speed controller.
Check neutral position on the transmitter. Put the drive trim control in centre position and let
go of the throttle (or put it in centre position as well). Check if the transmitter is switched on,
if the correct crystals are used and if the batteries/rechargeable batteries in the transmitter and
the vehicle are charged.
End of Operation
• First switch off the speed controller (put switch in the ”OFF” position).
• Disconnect the rechargeable battery from the speed controller.
• Now switch off the transmitter.
Disposal
Electric and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
