•
Type MRS:
o
Fold the ramp to its closed position.
o
Attach the Velcro(s) to the side of the ramp.
o
Slowly lift up the ramp with the handle attached to the side.
•
Type TBL:
o
Fold the ramp flap closed.
o
Slowly lift up the ramp with the handle attached to the side.
•
Type MRL:
o
Slowly lift up the ramp with the handle attached to the side.
o
Fold the ramp to its closed position.
•
Always transport the ramp with the handles.
•
Check the ramp for any damage that may reduce the load-bearing capacity.
Do not use the ramp if the supporting structure is damaged.
•
Place the ramp in a dry shielded area.
2.
Maintenance:
•
Only clean the ramp with a soft cloth, sponge or soft brush. Do not use hard
brushes to avoid scratches.
•
Use a normal all-purpose cleaner. Do not use aggressive cleaning products!
•
Remove all ice from the tread by applying warm water to the surface.
•
Always remove any sand, oil or other products that reduce the anti-slip
properties of the ramp.
3.
Service and warranty:
•
The ramp has a standard warranty of 2 years.
•
The ramp is designed for a practical use of about 5 years (under normal usage
and maintenance as a good family man).
•
When inspecting the ramp, pay particular attention to the following parts:
o
Tread (assembly, damage)
o
Deflection of the ramp unloaded and under load
o
Handle (assembly, damage)
o
Rubber hinge (mounting, damage)
o
Velcro (mounting, damage)
o
Other parts (assembly, damage)
•
If damage is found during inspection or in case of doubt, contact your dealer
immediately. DO NOT use the ramp if you have any doubt about its correct
operation.
4.
Warnings:
•
Read the complete user manual before using the ramp for the first time. The
technical specifications are at the front of this manual.
•
The ramp is intended for wheelchair users only and may not be used for any
other purpose.
•
The maximum load of the ramp is 300kg (user and attendant). Do not jump
on the ramp or move with shocks.
•
Only the wheelchair user, his companion and luggage may be transported on
the ramp.
•
Drive slowly up and down the ramp without taking a run-up.
•
Make sure that the ramp is in full contact with the ground both at the
beginning and the end of the ramp.
•
The surface on which the ramp is used must be flat and stable.
•
Always drive in the middle of the ramp.
•
Avoid collisions with the ramp when it is carried.
•
The ramp must not be used for gradients greater than 20% (max 20cm height
difference per meter length).
•
The ramp must be stored in a dry, protected area. Place the ramp upright so
that passers-by cannot fall over the ramp.
•
Always carry the ramp away from the body to avoid injuries.
•
Only open the ramp when it is on the ground.
•
DO NOT use the ramp if it is damaged!
