When changing or deleting your
passcode, you must use the remote
control included with this TV. You
cannot use a Mitsubishi remote control
from another component or a “universal”
remote.

Bypassing the V-Chip Lock
After you set the lock, you need your
passcode to view a V-C hip locke d pro-
gram, view the locked T V, cancel the
lock, or enter the V-C hip Lock menus.
If you forget your passcode, you can
view the locked T V without entering your
passcode. T his is done by pressing the
numbe r 9 and Q V buttons on the remote
T V control at the same time, when your
passcode is re quested. T his process
temporarily unlocks the T V.
W hen entering the V-C hip Lock menu,
this process deletes your old passcode
and prompts you to enter a new
passcode. P ressing H O M E at this time
will cancel the entire passcode.

Bypassing Front Button Lock
If you have misplaced the remote control,
you can bypass the front button lock by
pressing and holding the M EN U button
on the front panel for more than 8 se c-
onds.
