NOTE

Reverse the disassembly procedures to reassemble.

Non-reusable parts

Secondary

terminal

Check the following points; repair or replace if a problem is

found.

There must be no cracking in the cap.
There must be no damage to the cap’s electrode or the

rotor’s electrode.

Clean away any dirt from the cap and rotor.

Measure the resistances of the primary and secondary coils

with the tester.

If the measurement is within the standard allowance, there

are no broken wires or short-circuits.
