[8] Install and setting
In order to use PLK-J-LAN, it is necessary to use USB flash drive, install LAN system data,
and set IP address etc.
* When setting only the IP address etc. please put the setting data in the USB flash drive.
(LAN system data is unnecessary.)
What the user needs to prepare

Please create a folder of "LAN_SYSTEM" in the USB flash drive and enter the LAN system data file.
* For LAN system data, please consult with the dealer.
Please use the latest LAN system data.

Please create a folder of "MAKER" in the USB flash drive and enter the file
“IP.PLK” of the setting data
which set the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway.
* Please prepare the setting data with arbitrary IP address etc set up.
Setting data can be created by dedicated PC application
“IPEdit”.
For dedicated PC applications, please contact the dealer.

* For necessary settings such as PLC, refer to the owner's manual of the used equipment.
(1) Installation and setup method
Connect USB to the PLK-J-LAN, including LAN system
data and setup data, and install and configure
automatically when power is turned on.
The front panel LED (red) lights up during installation.
(2) PLK-J-LAN information
The system and setting of PLK-J-LAN can be confirmed from the file of "LAN-UNIT.TXT" in the
USB flash drive. Please confirm after installing and setting LK-J-LAN.
After connecting the USB flash drive to the PLK-J-LAN and turning on the power,
the file of "LAN-UNIT.TXT" is automatically saved in the USB flash drive.
