6.8 Edit / change location / delete
Under the three options “Edit”, “Change location” and “Delete” you can change information and names, move systems to
different rooms or buildings or even completely delete buildings, floors, sections or rooms.
EDIT
The edit feature allows you to change names or individual attributes. The level where you currently are is decisive: At the
building level, you can change all of the building information that you entered when the building was added. At lower lev-
els, on the other hand, you can usually only edit the entered names.
CHANGE LOCATION (AVAILABLE ONLY AT SYSTEM LEVEL)
“Change location” is possible only at the system level. This is the only place where MELCloud shows this option and al-
lows you to move systems to different locations in the menu structure. For example, this could be simply moving a sys-
tem within a single building or moving a system from one building to another.
DELETE
Buildings, floors, systems, etc. can quickly and easily be deleted with “Delete”. Please keep in mind that “Delete” irre-
versibly deletes the selection. The system is then completely deleted. So before deleting a system, be sure that you really
intend to delete it.
