75ohm termination switch for VIDEO IN LOOP THROUGH
connector
Switch it to OFF when the monitor is connected to VIDEO IN
LOOP THROUGH connector. Switch it to ON when no
equipment is connected to VIDEO IN LOOP THROUGH
connector.
VIDEO IN LOOP THROUGH connector
The signal from the VIDEO IN connector is looped out to this
connector.

connector
Switch it to OFF when the monitor is connected to S-VIDEO
IN LOOP THROUGH connector. Switch it to ON when no

The signal from the S-VIDEO IN connector is looped out to
this connector.
AUDIO OUT (CH-1/L) connector
CH-1/L audio output connector (RCA jack).
AUDIO OUT (CH-2/R) connector
CH-2/R audio output connector (RCA jack).
MONITOR connector
Monitor audio output connector (RCA jack). The audio signal
selected by MONITOR switch on the front panel is output from
this connector.

VIDEO IN connector
Input connector for video signal (BNC connector).
VIDEO OUT connector
Output connector for video signal (BNC connector).
FOOT SW jack
The foot switch which is used to control recording is connected
to here. The foot switch shall comply with any of the following
standards UL544, UL187, UL2601-1, CSA125, CSA114 or
CSA601-1.
S-VIDEO OUT connector
Output connector for video signal (S-VIDEO connector).
REMOTE jack
Remote control is possible by connecting the remote control
unit (R-3001) here.
S-VIDEO IN connector
Input connector for video signal (S-VIDEO connector).
Battery Box and RS-232C/34-pin options
Battery is stored here. Also install optional RS-232C/34-pin
interface board to here.
Note
• This VCR contains a special battery. Consult your dealer to
replace it.
AC power socket
This socket connects to the power cord. Insert the cord firmly.
Potential equalization connector
This is used to equalize the potential of the equipment
connected to the unit. For details, refer to the installation
instruction of the equipment to be connected.
Warning:
The included power cord is used for 220 - 230 V, 50 Hz.
Do not connect to any outlet or power supply having a different voltage or frequency.
Note
Ensure the power cord is not plugged into the outlet before connecting to any rear terminals.
