7 FUNCTIONS
7.1 IO-Link Master Functions

IO-Link device setting automatic upload/download function

This function saves the parameter setting of the IO-Link device connected to each channel in the IO-Link module, and as
necessary, overwrites the parameter setting of the IO-Link devices.
Use this function to inherit parameter setting of an IO-Link device when replacing it.
The CQ LED flashes in green during uploading or downloading.
On the parameter setting window of the engineering tool or via a program, enable/disable automatic download of IO-Link
device parameters and automatic upload of directly modified IO-Link device parameters for each channel.
For details on setting parameters via a program, refer to the following.



Description

The following table lists the IO-Link device conditions, and relevant settings and operations.

*1 No processing is performed if the parameter setting data in the connected IO-Link device is not compatible with the parameter setting

data in the IO-Link module.

*2 When the IO-Link module has no parameter setting data, parameter setting data will be uploaded even when the upload setting is

disabled.

*3 Depending on the IO-Link device setting, the upload operation may take precedence even when the download setting is enabled. (


