CD-ROM drive
If you have problems accessing a CD, check that you have allowed a
few seconds for the disk to spin up to full speed, and that the disk is
the correct way up in the drive and that it is a data CD.
PD/CD-ROM drive
If you have problems accessing a CD or PD cartridge check that
you have inserted the disk/cartridge correctly, and also that you
have not inserted both. If you are having problems writing to a PD
cartridge check that it not write-protected.
Hard disk drive
If you encounter problems accessing the hard disk drive, use the
BIOS Setup utility to check that the drive is correctly specified, and
that the drives controller is enabled. Check also that the disk has
been correctly formatted, and that the permission assigned by the
operating system allow the intended access.
