Terminal settings

Setting the display

Go to the

Display

menu.

Welcome screen

:

-> Select any of the modes displayed (using the arrows).
-> Enter the timeout before changeover to display in power-

saving mode (use the context-sensitive keypad).

Brightness

:

-> Adjust the brightness using the horizontal browser keys.
-> Enter in seconds the screen backlight timeout (use the

context-sensitive keypad).

Setting the keypad

Go to the

Dial

menu.

1 - Select an

Interactive keypad

sub-menu.

This option is used to correct the phone number being entered:

•

Deactivate

: for correcting the number being entered using the

key. You have to press

Dial

to start the call.

•

Activated

: does not allow the number to be corrected. The call

is automatically started at the end of the input.

Speed dial keys

This option is used to save a phone number on a digital key on
the keypad (see “Speed dial”, page 25) or on a programmable
key. However, since the programmed keys are not visible from
MiVoice 5000 User Portal in this way, there may be a clash
between these two programming types.
On the other hand, these keys are programmed on the terminal
and their programming is lost if the subscription is moved (login/
logout). They are not accessible from an associated terminal.
