You can handle the calls for two different companies on the same operator
phone, if the operator phone is configured as a two-company system. For
an incoming call, the display shows whether the call is for company A or
company B.
Making calls using the operator key
You want to make a call through an operator key. You can make a call
through any available operator key on the operator phone. The call
charges are recorded separately for each operator key. Note that you can
not make internal calls through an operator key; only external calls can be
made. If you want to make an internal or external call with your personal
call number, you can make it through the personal line. For more informa-
tion, see the chapter "Making calls", page 31).
Answer a call through the operator key
Press the top half of the operator key on the phone.

You are connected with the caller.

The icon on the operator key changes to connected state.
Make a call through the operator key
Press a free operator key.
Choose
Company A
or
Company B
, as necessary.
Enter the caller’s phone number or the caller’s name.

If you type in a few characters, the system displays a list of names and num-
bers that correspond to the entered characters.
Select the relevant name from the list.

The phone number is dialled. Talk to the caller in a handsfree mode or pick up
the handset to converse in handset mode.The icon on the phone displays
information about the call: whether the call is intended for company A, or
intended for company B.
