Setting the tool
Before starting work, the clamping opening of the tool must be adjusted to the thickness of the materials to be
treated (concrete blocks). This is done by pulling out the locking pins of the clamp opening. It is advisable to take
the opening width approx. 5 cm larger than the load to be lifted.
A hook system locks or unlocks the tool while handling the load:
Preventive maintenance
The tool is subject to periodic maintenance.
The following maintenance guidelines must be observed at all times:
•
Clean the tool after each use and before storing it: remove any contamination that may affect the proper
functioning of the tool;
•
Check whether all parts are still present;
•
Check for damage - replace with original parts if necessary;
•
Store the tool in a dry and well-ventilated area;
•
Do not place any materials on the tool during storage;
•
Lubricate all hinged parts with Teflon grease at least every 150 working hours or every 2 months
(depending on which limit is reached first);
•
If damage is found, notify the responsible personnel for further action.
