Using the Keyboard
The keyboard can be divided into four major areas plus an
Fn
key.

Description
Function Keys
Function keys
are multi-purpose keys that perform
functions defined by individual programs.
Cursor-Control
Keys
Cursor-control keys are generally used for editing
purposes. They are Home, End, Page Up, and Page Down.
When used with
Fn
key, they become Left, Right, Up, and
Down arrow keys.
Numeric
Keypad
When Num Lock is on and first press and hold
Fn
, then
press the numeric keys, the numeric keys
embedded in the
typewriter keys are activated, which means you can use
these keys to enter numerals. When Num Lock is off, they
become typewriter keys.
Typewriter
Keys
Typewriter keys are similar to the keys on a typewriter.
Several keys are added, such as the
Ctrl
,
Alt
,
Esc
and lock
keys, for special purposes. When the lock keys are pressed,
their corresponding indicators light up.
