WEEE = Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
The WEEE directive is the EC directive 2002/96/EC on
reduction of the increasing amount of waste from
electrical and electronic equipment not used any
more. Its objective is prevention, reduction and
environmentally friendly disposal of the increasing
amounts of electronic waste.
